5. Toss up between Ace Enders, Jack Johnson and Regina Spektor.
and if you want it to be over SONIC YOUTH or DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 (unless its a really cool girl whos into them and then you won't want it fo be over and then you listen to them for fun))

You know... At this point I've come to the conclusion that I really have no idea what girls like. I guess that cute post modern folksy shit off of the Dan in Real Life soundtrack? Don't get me wrong, some of that is good, but yeah. Most girls (and I guess guys) just follow the commercial trends and that kinda stuff was big and is still lingering.
So yeah, since I'm entirely clueless as to what girls like and/or am too much of a musical elitist to stoop to their level, I've instead decided to list the top 5 bands to NOT listen to on a date. I'm doing this since I have extensive experience on the matter and have witnessed a variety of different reactions to my music by the opposite gender.
1.) Rage Against the Machine*
2.) Any reggae at all.**
3.) Late of the Pier ***
4.) Jazz ****
5.) Jerky Boys *****
* - "OMG! This is so angry. Why is he so mad? Oh, turn this off!"

Well you see boys, perhaps the dates aren't going well because you are worrying about what music to listen to. Maybe you should try paying more attention to the date itself. Just a though.

Ok seriously though, Josh: The problem was the contrary. I wasn't paying attention to the music, I was just focusing on the date. As a result, the CD I had in that day was still in there... and yeah. They'd bitch and moan.
