Is that a giant LHM banner on the side of the Ellen Eccles Theater? Am I the last one to notice that?

Yes and yes.
And I'm going to give Boozer the benefit of the doubt and say that, when he plays, he is 50% amazing (a terror on offence and terrible on defence). So, last season where he played 37 games (45.1% of the season) that would make him 22.55% amazing on the whole for the 82-game season last year. However, NBA.com has him rated at a very impressive +26.60 efficiency rating - especially when compared to the efficiency rating of, say, Chris Bosh which is +24.90 or that of Deron Williams which is +23.20. Paul Millsap's? +15.40. Mehmet Okur's? +5.00. Kind of makes you appreciate what Boozer could potentially bring to the table, no? Even Kobe Bryant's EFF is only +27.52. I still think that we should hang on to Boozer until the trade deadline - let him work his trade value back up while simultaneously helping the Jazz tally up the W's.
NOTE: A player's efficiency rating (EFF) is a rating calculated by NBA-employed statistic nerds using a player's offensive rating, defensive rating, ppg, orpg, drpg, apg, spg, turnovers, gp and other factor's I don't even know about. The league-high EFF belongs to Lebron James (+37.00). The lowest EFF-rated player on the Jazz last season was Brevin Knight (-.20).

Agreed. Actually, Brevin Knight WAS a disgrace to Utah Jazz basketball. We did not extend him so he is floating around in Free Agent Hell right now. BADABOOM!!!

Just trying to lead the discussion. Any predictions for this next season? I say the Jazz go 52-30 -- good enough to secure the 6th seed in the playoffs and make an early first round exit at the hands of the Spurs.
Here is my prediction for the Western Conference playoff seeding:
1- Los Angeles Lakers 2- Portland Trailblazers 3- San Antonio Spurs 4- Denver Nuggets 5- Dallas Mavericks 6- Utah Jazz 7- New Orleans Hornets 8- Phoenix Suns
Any other prophecies from the LS?
