Remember when people on LS used to have balls? Not the kinda where you rag on people, but the kind where you post stuff and people criticize the hell out of it. I really think I've become a better musician and a more mature person from the LS. I know the mature part sounds funny, but if any of you remember Trent, you'll know what I mean. I think that guy made a man out of me. Trent, wherever you are . . . I miss your musk.
No, but seriously, Trent beat my self-confidence into a pulp.

Dude, I saw Trent at the Utah Arts Fest in SLC back in July! We sat and talked for quite awhile, he was a cool guy.

Go tell someone he's a dick and his music sucks. I'm sure it'll feel more natural to you.

so, I've been thinking about this film a little bit, and I have to say that it's grown on me in its conception. I feel that I can give a little constructive criticism on the topic, as per slugger's request:
The sound quality is choppy, noisy, and inconsistent and gives the whole thing from start to finish an amateur feel. If there were ONE thing to improve, it would be that. If you could get a good, consistent sound throughout, it would take the amateur edge off, and the visual part of the film (which was really good) would be able to shine through.
I don't mind the incomplete story line, but it felt like there was a lot of time spent on walking around as opposed to a little bit of character development that would possibly either contrast or complement this guy eating his hand in the end, thereby making the conclusion more interesting. This is just a subjective observation, though, and not meant to overshadow the "vision" of the film.
The cop did not convince me of anything. I like the role of the cop, but I did not like the execution.
That all being said, i did like the concept, and I really liked the visual aspect of the film. I thought camera angles were good and the plot was interesting and well paced.
So there you have it. Hope you don't hate me.

The cashier at King's was terrible. Like...I kinda wanted to punch her in the face. Nobody is that happy at work, especially when you're a cashier at King's. Not believable.
