I enjoy Old Man's Child. They are some heavy ass shit right there. But good at the harmonization while their at it.

Hey I just wanted to contribute my opinion to this DLing CD debate. I have not downloaded music, I have in the past had friends burn CD's for me, but I personally think that downloading and burning helps bands to some extent. There are some bands that I'm not too into, and I would not spend money on buying that CD. But then my friend burns the CD for me and I grow a taste for them after taking a closer listen. If i really like them then I will buy their CD (because I like having the originals) and I will very possibly buy their next album, and I will very possibly see them when they have a show near me. A fan could be created through burning a CD, and wouldn't have been created otherwise (because I wasn't about to buy a CD when I wasn't so sure if I liked them or not yet). I need music to grow on me, I rarely like a band right off. I havent been burned a CD or downloaded music in over 2 years because I'm just really set on what I'm listening to and I haven't needed to turn to other music recently. I'm just posting the view that burning can help a band. I do think ripping CD's is messed and obviously its illegal (which is why I haven't done it for a while) but I really think it helps the bands promotion in alot of cases. It's not always about the money for bands, I think often cases its all about getting out there and sharing their music with anyone who is willing to listen.
Just posting the opposing view, I'm not really passionate about it either way I just want to express a different perspective.

Sam a little late. And that just kind of proved Billy's point when he says that you just talk. You just kind of said what would piss people off so people will talk. I still love you but that was a little pointless.

uhh allright I honestly didn't think it would piss anyone off... I just had some thoughts when I finally got around to reading this burning CD battle and I posted my thoughts, yes late I'm sorry. I thought I posted in a very passive way to not start anything. I apologize if anyone is pissed off about my post, I was just hoping to open eyes to see how burning could be beneficial to a band perhaps.

You were as passive as diarreah, and if anyone gets pissed about that, they need some anger management.
