If you call yourselves someone's friend and then diss their music that isn't being a very good friend; If you don't like your friends music or don't want to support your friend who works really hard and reflects who they are through their music, don't say ANYTHING about it. For me music is a big thing in my life, I spend LOTS of time trying to improve myself, and It's not good for someone to make "their friend" feel like they have wasted half of their life doing what they love, or to discount them doing what makes them happy. You're allowed to not like it, but if you want to be a good friend don't say anything unless they directly ask you your opinion, and when that occurs answer the question and be as objective as possible. |
