Global carbon emissions: Starting with the 1900's, when the industrial revolution really started to take off, you can see the carbon emissions really start to incline. Global temperatures: Again, starting in the 1900's, temperatures start to take a turn upwards. 2 different sources, 2 different graphs. They match up. Coincidence? Maybe. Eitherway, reducing the amount of fossil fuels used and burned is a very good idea, both for the environment, but also for economic reasons.

Get a graph that doesn't just go back only 150 years. You can't prove anything with that little data.

i agree with ty's second statement. whether global warming is real or because of us or WHATEVER, reduction in fossil fuels consumed would be a good thing

I sure agree with that. Fossil fuels are slowly killing us. Have you ever looked up how much coal has to burn for each megabyte you transfer on the net? That will make you think a little more about what you're doing on the net.

End of discussion. Nuclear is the answer. And steam rooms.

You could power some serious steam with a plutonium rod!

Cold fusion would be sweet.. A perpetual motion machine would be cool too...
Someone get on it!!
But I think the SUN is warming and changing, and it's causing US to warm up. At least I heard this guy say that because it's not just us who is warming up. It's all the planets.. And it goes through cycles, and such blah blah... anyway I don't think we have a HUGE effect on it. Not saying we don't have an effect... but not significant enough to say it's our fault.. Though anything to cut pollution, I'm all for it.

Whatever is going on, I'm sick of snow. I sprayed some aerosol cans today to get it to warm up. Do your part.
