so i'm thinking of hitting up the oil fields of Vernal for the summer, does anyone know where to start?
OR
does anyone have an alternate idea for summer work to make that bling bling sing?

I'm not sure. I actually have a friend who just got laid off from the oil fields in Casper, WY. Hopefully they'll be hiring. Good luck though! I think it would be a great job for you.

Yeah Sean, I would say stay away from the oil racquet. Many towns here in the wide open square are shutting down and everyone is leaving because the market has gone to shit.

I'm going to Jackson Hole for the summer working at a hotel, and just camping the entire time. I was considering doing some construction work as well on my off days. Or maybe the whole time. You can make like $18+ doing concrete in Jackson Hole.. I'll only be making $13 or so tops at the hotel but it's a coosh job. Just pay for car insurance, phone. food. save the rest.

A dock rep or luggage crew.. or adventure crew.
Dock rep organizes and manages the crowds of people and help them get on the right bus's. luggage crew.. does that. Adventure crew takes groups of people to the summit in vans, then helps them bike down the mountain. It's pretty hardcore, but you don't make as much and it's a definite pain in the ass.. biking on cold days bites.
