So far we have Clint, Secondhand, Morty, Ben, Chase, Regina, Josh Jones, Kellin, and I. Yeah? I couldn't tell if Jonas wanted to play. You guys will let me play? This is great! The boys on the playground never used to let me play, even though my dad coached my jr. jazz team and I met Hornacek. Rock on!

We were thinking 3 on 3 games with 1 reserve. Gnate and Riley are also planning on playing.

as a distraction from the MM subject, I just want to point out that this would be really fun. If this does actually end up happening, I'd really like to play.
I haven't played anything but horse with my 10 year old brother in law for about 3 years, but I know I still got it.

With Gnate & Riley that makes 12 (if Jonas plays). That makes for 3 teams of 4 (including the reserve). I say we round-robin that shit up!
TO WIN THE TOURNAMENT: -Each team plays the two other teams. -The team not playing serves as refs, cheerleaders & scorekeepers. -Team with most wins wins the tourney. -In case of a tie (in wins) we do a sudden-death 3-point shootout. Each player shoots one 3-pointer. The team with the most made shots wins.
TO WIN A GAME: -First team to score 30 points wins. -Must win by at least 2 points. -Standard basketball rules apply (fouls, traveling, double-dribble, 3 seconds, etc.).
Questions?

Indoors or outdoords?
If outdoors I know a pretty old school place, but we might have to wait a while before the snow clears off of it. The pavement is pretty rough... half the fun of outdoors, right? If anyone is interested, I can double check it tonight and see if it would actually be suitable withing the next couple of weeks.
If indoors we'd probably want to go to LHS, right?

I Think we should wait until summer and do it outside at your sketchy place Regina.

the HPER on campus is great. and so are roll-around type hoops that you can lower for sick slam dunk competition!
basket ball is my favorite sport i love the way they dribble up and down the court -words by clint, inspired by a true story

I Think we should wait until summer and do it outside at your sketchy place Regina. Yeah, it's a touch sketch. It's half court with no lines but it's in the middle of the block behind my house. I think it is supposed to go along with the house just east of me, but said house has been vacant since we moved in here 8 months ago. Me n F. Thomas have been planning on tightening the place up though this spring. If no one's ever there, what's the harm in cutting down the weeds and applying a little spray paint at regulation intervals, right? I took a look at it today and it's actually more level with less pavement flaws than I thought. No net and only a minimal amount of weeds growing into the asphalt. Anyway, if any one wants to go serious old school I think it's the perfect place. So let's plan on the HPER. That sounds good to me.
