They're more fun to plaaay. Yeah, this is true. There's still something about jazz basketball, though, that hooks me.

You make good points but you leave no room for argument on a matter that could never be more than opinion. So spare me the bull shit act of subjectivity, back off the pejoratives, and maybe we can have a conversation, huh? I thought we were having both an argument and a conversation. No? I really hope you don't take what I say to heart. I just really love sports and love arguing about sports even more. Still unfamiliar and anonymous buds?

you mean they will choke in the 7th game? Lead the whole game but lose by 5 when Kobe single handedly goes on a 12-0 run in the last 4 minutes to win the game?

Actually, the truth of the matter is....The Jazz are paying out quite a bit for their players. AK is one of the highest paid players...IN the NBA! He makes more than LeBron James. So what is he on the Jazz? When it comes to pay, the Jazz aren't in the back of the bus in comparison to the Lakers. Both pay out about the same. The Jazz's front office has made some pretty stupid decisions, but hopefully this off-season they can move some deals around, and acquire a couple more key players.

Oh and Jonzey...
Ronnie Brewer averaged 50 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line. That's hardly horrible.
Mehmet averaged 48 percent from the field, 46 from the 3-point line!, and 81 percent from the free throw line. Offensively, he opens up the court a ridiculous amount. He's actually pretty tough on D. He takes charges, blocks shots and has fairly quick feet. He is an offensive player though, and without him, the Jazz struggle.
Those are pretty valuable players.

Okay, since everyone is so into statistics let's take a little bit deeper look at them: Memo - I admitted that he is a very dangerous 3-point threat. But I just cannot agree with you at all that his defense is "actually pretty tough". You say he blocks shots? Out of 29 centers in the NBA Memo is ranked #21 in blocks per game at .74. Not great. I agree with you he is a very effective offensive player but he really hurts the team on defense. Especially when it's him and Boozer gaurding the rim. They are without a doubt the worst defensive frontcourt in the league. Brewer - Yes, his FG% is phenominal but, as I stated earlier, it's because he dunks it 4 or 5 times per game (which I think is great). But his mid-range jumpers are almost painful to watch. If he never took a shot outside of 5 feet, he would have like an 85% FG%. And yes, 70% FT shooting IS horrible. Especially for a guard. Out of 59 guards in the NBA he is ranked 58th in FT%. Ouch. Now, don't get the wrong impression. I am a huge Jazz fan, which is why I think they are horrible. This was supposed to be THE YEAR!!! But, just like always, the Jazz proved they are just another mediocre team that can't quite make it over the hump. I hate to say it, but I put a good chunk of the blame on Sloan. Over twenty years as head coach and NO rings? He has to be doing something wrong!
