netflix=online watching for TONS of content for no extra charge. Also, no late fees. And with a 'roku' box you can even 'rent' the new releases through amazon, although 2-3 dollars a rental, I usually pay that in not returning my redbox in time.

Netflix is how I was able to watch the entirety of the Sopranos in just under 3 months.
It was intense.

I agree with Clint. But in the meantime, I think it depends. I only watch rented movies every so often, so a monthly service doesn't really suit me.
If I wanted to watch an entire TV series, or older movies, I'd definitely go with Netflix.
If I want to watch new releases, I'll just go a block to the nearest Redbox.
Really, they don't even cater to the same needs. This is a horribly thought out survey!!!
(of course, if I can find it online for free! like streaming on Hulu, then screw them both!)

I don't feel like you can really compare the two... Redbox is for spontaneous limited-media gratification. Redflix is prolonged enjoyment of a limitless selection which takes a few days to obtain.
