well, I think it's funny.
Those words they use... it's like pointing. "Look! Diversity! SLAY!"
But on the other hand, it could make certain people not ever want to go there.. which is fine with me.

One of my favorite comments after this article. I laughed.
" I can't wait for the next story about the "conservative" neighborhood where the people cut their lawns perfectly, dress in collard shirts and where 3 of every 10 men have had sex with pre-teenage girls who happen to be there grand children.
Does stereotyping hit a nerve. You bet it does. Logan will change, despite the HJ. (It most likely that the HJ wont be around in 5 years in any case.) In the meantime, let's through your buts in the trash and leave your hands off the little girls.
Semper Fi "

Ave. with my mom when I was a wee lad and she told me to stay away this is where the bad people are. Wow, that's sad. I do think that the article was trying to show "diversity in action" or something like that--I mean, it wasn't the paper that called the Fed Ave the SoHo District, it was a business owner on Fed Ave. However I think they did it poorly, and the article was generally in poor taste, and I'm pretty sure more than a few of the quoted people feel a little mis-represented. I honestly think that they should have focused more on reasons why everyone should go down to this area: wonderful food, good music, pretty buildings, etc--and not so much on what sets it drastically apart from the rest of this bubbled world called Logan. Pointing out the "hipsters," "smokers," "drinkers," and "counter-culture" just felt odd.

I didn't think anyone could be worse than Tyler Riggs as a herald journal writer but....congratulations Kim Burgess!

Whatever, that's real poor journalism. The "Ha ha" before my comment implied that I was being sarcastic.
