Man. That was a sad, awakening movie. Most war-based movies make war look cool. This just make war look sucky. Good movie to watch if you've got a tough stomach, don't mind hearing the F word about 150 times, and if you want a clearer picture of what soldier life is like.
Did anybody else think the ending was totally unresolving?

I don't think it deserved best picture. I thought the story line was a little stretched with the relationship between characters. I dunno, I just thought it was a waste of my time to watch. I think the idea of the movie was something that should be exposed but the execution of the film didn't do it for me. But that is just me...
