Print them on neon pink or neon yellow fliers with BIG text. You can't miss those.

I really think flier design should be attractive an professional looking. Professional meaning, good colors, design and solid lines. A lot can be said about a good flier. I think posters also need to be made in handout form. If you really wanna promote a show with a good flier, you have to mass produce that shiz and get it EVERYWHERE!

I wonder if people who aren't into design as much as I am really notice good flyers and could really tell them apart from a not-so-great flyer?

I believe the flyer should have the date, time, place, and headlining band as the most visible. and then mass produce them. most of the time it doesnt matter how awesome the flyer looks if your mass producing them, unless your rolling in cash and can afford that many color copies. black and white ones dont look good unless you plan on them being black and white. i dont really look at the design unless it needs to be looked at, like some of your work morty. your flyers for some crooked beats shows are sweet. and i do look at the background. but the ones that are just a cool design, who cares, just read the band names, and move on.

I think colored fliers have the perks. I also think you might lose the more indie type kids because they think it looks to professional. I've always had that fear. Maybe I'm just dumb though.

Make big posters to hang out with full color. Make hundreds of black and white 4 to 1 page fliers to hand out. Simple.

I just don't get why white paper is always used when the neon ones will catch the eye far more effectively.
