how would you know. Unless you stole it off some download site. Go really buy your music when it comes out. Give the artist the money they deserve. Not to jump to conclusions and say that you are some music pirate. But I just want to put out that message. Buy the music from the artist, not some kid that stole it.

That why I said"Not to jump to conclusions and say you are a music pirate." I don't.

I just think that it's robbery when people go and take peoples music that they worked hard to create and they take it off the internet for free.

I still stand behind liking POPaganda. People use image too much to decide what music they like. POPaganda is MUCH MUCH better of an album than the first. Ya'll just don't like it because they're getting radio play....or somethin. Quit putting a fucking label on the music. "It's not as dancy." Well....who gives a shit? The album is well written.
As for stealing music...
Most artists make their money from touring. So if some kid pirates an album, the artists pretty much isn't getting hurt by it, because chances are the kid is going to see them in concert when they go on tour anyway. The people who get hurt are the Record Labels and Indie Record shops, not the artists. Most musicians aren't in it for the money. They're in it to get their music out there. Getting famous is just an add on. As they start to make money, they build it into a career, and that is when they're in it for the money. By then, they usually are getting money from Touring and Sponsorships, not from cd sales. Metallica is pretty much the only band that I have heard come out and say they're strongly against downloading.

now if you want a great new cd Rise Against - The Sufferer And The Witness. July 4th! pick it up! It'll be worth your time and money well spent. i'm sorry but if it's anything like siren song of the counter culture it's probly not that great. they're earlier stuff is way better. oh, new pearl jam. it's a straight up rock n' roll album. almost as good as their first. and their finally not afraid to be famous. keep in mind that those guys are in their 40's. i'd say it's pretty straightforward rock for guys that age. check out the song "inside job". the only lyrics their drummer has ever contributed to the band, i say he should more often. there's these guys in elko, nevada. fallenday, some of you may have heard them. they're a metal/hardcore band. just check em out. myspace.com/fallenday

i really want to watch the Godfather.
but in terms of new CDs that have come out:
Keane - Under the Iron Sea
Murder By Death - In bocca al lupo
There is no way to refute an argument about musical tastes. I could say that I think Ben's, Clint's, Jordan's, and Adam's musical tastes suck, but that wouldn't get me anywhere. So, I'll just simply state that the new Head Automatica album is a step back for them musically. And if you disagree, I challenge you to Wario Ware (party!).

I personally like Siren Songs a lot, but I do like Revolutions Per Minute a lot more though. I think the new cd is gonna rock. I haven't heard it yet like our friend Adam, but I have heard some tracks and I like it so far.
I'm not a huge fan of the new Keane. It's just not as good as what they had going before. I understand they probably wanted to get away from the straight up piano sound, but the other cd had more catchy riffs and awesome hooks. I listened to that cd a ton, still do. The new cd just doesn't grab me like Hopes and Fears did. I was kinda let down. The Single is great though. I have only listened to it a few times, maybe it will grow on me.
Bill, I like ya.
Susan Cagle - The Subway Recordings
**I was a little iffy on this one. I thought the recording kinda stunk. I couldn't tell if it was just a crappy studio recording that they tried to make sound like it was being played in the Subway, but then I read the credits and found that it was recorded in the subway. 6 tracks were recorded during rush hour and 4 late at night. So that made me a little more interested. Cool Stuff.
Small Sins - Small Sins
**If you like analog synths and great harmonies with catchy hooks, you'll like this!
The Warriors - Beyond the Noise
**Just great stuff. It's got a great feel to it. You can almost feel a groove when you listen to it. I dig. If you don't go see them, I'll probably hurt you.
