Who is America? The majority? If there is nothing wrong with America then wouldn't the majority vote in the cream of the crop, the best of the best, the individual who the majority thinks best represents America?
I'm actually one of those people who don't really get into politics, because I dont really care/I dont know enough to form a solid opinion. Most of the stuff I have just said has been sarcasm, bullshit that makes sense to me (being a person who doesnt know much about politics) and I left a note at the end of this so maybe you guys could detect the sarcasm this time. Although I admit i dont know much, i will continue rambling on.
I am one of those people who doesn't have much patriotism for anything. I'm not one of those school pride kids, im not one of those proud of my country kids, and im not one of those family name proud kids. I really am not proud to be an American. We've done too much shit in the past that is absolute garbage that makes it really hard for me to have patriotism for America. Methods of dealing with the Native Americans, the mexican war for texas, slavery, vietnam war, yada yada lots of lame shit we've done, but to be more general im not proud our history perspirating of rasism, sexism, and prejudice, and Im not proud of our history of greed. Don't get me wrong though, im not ashamed to be American either im in between the two. The main thing I am proud about with America is we always seem to be gradually getting closer to what America is supposed to stand for. Equality. Civil rights movements have helped racial equality everywhere excluding Mississippi and other southern states as far as the presence of racism, womans rights obviously, and gays rights seem to be developing and ultimately i think they will prevail. I am proud of what America is supposed to stand for but I am ashamed when we aren't doing what we stand for. But in time i guess i beleive we will get close to our ideal America and i guess that makes me a little proud.
But seriously what is up with retards getting elected into office that are less intelligent and more closeminded than the average person? This is who the majority vote for to represent us... that makes the majority more stupid than the actual leader, because the majority found this ape to be a good candidate. Like the question i have heard several times, "who is more stupid the idiot or the person who follows the idiot?". I would have to concur with the implied answer.
