I think that Mars Volta - Amputechure is WAY better than Frances The Mute, but it could never top De-Loused in the Comatorium. Amen.

I really wasn't impressed with this years new records, but the Mars Volta's Amputechture was amazing. A lot of inspiration has spawned from countless days listening to it. You obviously don't listen to that much music. Or maybe your expectations for music are just *WAY WAY WAY too high. *Not to be confused with Way Way East Bay

I hated Frances until i made myself listen to it a few times and now i like it quite a bit...not as much as De-Loused but its not as bad as most people claim it to be the greatness just doesn't hit you in the face like De-loused did...i have yet to listen to Amputechure all the way through yet but i have really liked what i heard. I just got the newest Limbeck and i really enjoy it. you all should check it out if you haven't and finally its almost 07' that means a new Bright Eyes full-lenth and i'm sooper dooper excited.

I've listened to Frances The Mute plenty of times all the way through. It's just not as good as De-Loused. I've decided that my favorite mars volta CD is actually the Tremulant EP. I got a new cd a few days ago from my brother, and its becoming a favorite. Mew - and The Glass Handed Kites.
