Hahaha, this is excellent. First off, you do all know that Crimethinc is some serious crust punk stuff, right? The fact that any of you guys think that the Crimethinc anarchist collective is "cool" is hilarious. Okay, everyone is saying the same stuff about cops, so I wanted to catch this. Look - Crimethinc isn't ''serious crust punk stuff.'' Crimethinc is just a bunch of people who do whatever they want. That's what being an anarchist is. And deciding to work together with people towards a common goal is fucking okay. Just be free! I don't see why you would think Crimethinc is stupid. Sure, it's idealistic, but have you ever met any people that are living such lifestyle? People do it every day. I've met a kid who hasn't worked in 6 years and is having the time of his life. They don't have rules or a list of beliefs that everyone has to subscribe to to be a ''member.'' Crimethinc is mostly a resource group and communication tool for groups of people trying to change things. There's nothing wrong with political activism or sharing ''radical'' information. At the lowest level, they don't like cops, and you don't either. Aren't we all friends? Can I suck your cock now? Are you serious? I love Crimethinc. Seriously, two of favorite bands (which ironically enough fall into the "crust punk" category) are on Crimethinc's record label. I thought it was really interesting that anyone else had even heard of Crimethinc. The only people I've ever met that were seriously into Crimethinc are crust punks, squatters, and a few street punks. Perhaps I just worded that incorrectly, I should have said interesting instead of hilarious.

I'm sorry sir/madame; I thought you were being a little blue meanie (actually, that cop reference was unintended when first written, promise). I don't really know what I was going off about either; for some reason I needed to vent my frustration through a laptop computer onto the interweb (NOT invented by Al Gore!).
The kids I know that like crimethinc are generally mildly schizophrenic. That isn't much of an exaggeration.
But I'll still suck your cock if you want me to.

So, by that logic, since we're all humans, none of us are responsible for our actions, right? Of course not. What the fuck are you talkin about- I didn't catch your argument at all, who said anything about accidents? You're right though, cops can be very dangerous- I've seen what they can do; beatin kids for begging, shooting drunks for no reason, raping civilians- I've seen it all personally (excpet the actual rape, I talked to the victim hours after it and I saw the cop walkin around braggin), I've even stared down the wrong side of 5 machine guns all because of my race/nationality and having my towns put under martial law and everything that intels- still I stand by my statement that the good out-wieghs the bad here

Yep, good ol' Philippines! Most people don't know about the current social problems there including civil war (so-called terrorists known as the NPA "new people's army" are being slaughtered and hunted by the government), religious "Jehad" in Mindinao (it's one of the Taliban's last major holdings), the racial war (the pinoy's are gettin sick of being kicked around in their own country by rich, old americans.... read "Ugly American" for a better idea)... And my personal favorite, the DDS (Davao Death Squad)- a government hired group of hitmen that hunt down drug-dealers and slaughter everyone in the way. All of these problems has led the government to get really parinoid so the President (Gloria) puts the country under martial law about once a month (no joke) and depending on how far in the jungle you get, the more dangerous it is for tourists and americans in general. All in all, thousands die each year at the hand of the Pinoy government-

I thought i'd throw in my two cents! just a lil FYI for the people talking about quota's! the only department in cache valley that has quota's is The UHP! Logan requires that the officer makes 4 traffic stops a night! but does not require them to write a ticket just needs to make contact! All departments have an Alcohol shift! which pretty much explains itself! If the officer sees anything he can and will pull you over! Such as no headlight, blinker, front license plate! most of the time they will let you off unless your being a dickhead then they will give you a fix it ticket! still you are breaking the law! these shifts are usually 4 hours on thurs. fri. and sat. As for the one guy who was bitching about three cops being somewhere! It's called safety! I know if i were a cop i'd want someone there if i was about to make an arrest. Also where it was a woman they were arresting! if they did not have a female officers with them, for liability reasons they are definately going to have more officers as witnesses to searchs and stuff! As for the subject on searchs! they laws of search and seizures is very strict for an officer! much different than just a citizen! I haven't studied up on the issue for quite some time! but i believe if an officer asks to search you. you can say no! If they suspect you have a weapon they still have to ask! If you keep reaching in you pocket or if they officer feels a presence of threat that nulls the right to say no and he can search you but not enter the pockets just a normal pat down! if he feels a pipe in your pocket! that gives him reasonable doubt or whatever to search. if you still say no he can get a search warrant with the click of his cell phone! if you run in with a cop best thing to do is keep ur hands outta your pockets! definatley don't clench your fist or do anything to make them feel uncomfortable and they will probably be decent to you! Officers have two lifes! Work and when they are not at work! They are people too! they have all made mistakes! They have all sped or broke some law! Back to the quota thing real quick! there is one town in cache valley that your more likely to get a speeding ticket in! Because the town has been complaining to their force that the officers haven't been catching people speeding in there town! i'll leave that one for you to guess! have a good one!

if i might throw my two cents in, kids in cache valley dont have too much of a right to bitch about the police being harsh. if i can walk down main street at 10pm with a straight edge shirt and inch thick xs on the back of each hand with a bandana hanging out of my pocket then the situation is not as bad as you think, by utah police "guidelines" or what not im in a gang, although i would disagree, this technically gives them instant probable cause to search me and i have yet to be searched any where in cache valley. furthermore, if you really wanna complain go see how the local police in san clemente, CA work, or in west memphis, AR. there are so many worse places even in the us that you could be living than up in sheltered cache valley, trust me ive lived in a few of them...

Also, the cop cant say "if you dont leave your going to jail" i dont think they can say that. can they?
