Why sound is saturation the Loganscene section with shows. This isn't a bad thing, but I believe it is putting way too many stickies in the section, which in turn is making it harder for non Why Sound shows to get some clear exposure. Let's take a vote and maybe Jonas or Bob can get a Why Sound thing going. Nothing against them. What they are doing is great, it's just clogging up the Loganscene section a little much.

I think they should be able to post their shows in the same place everyone else does. A solution to the problem, would be to only sticky a show a week prior to when it comes around. This would require some extra effort, but whatever.

If why sound did one large post of the entire month of upcoming shows that would fix it.
I think giving them their own section would be beneficial for them. I think they deserve it too.

I would rather go over to the Why Sound section and see their list of shows, rather than having to filter through the Loganscene section to find whatever local show. Let's face it, Why Sound has a lot of shows, and I really don't care about the majority of them. No offense.

Ben you don’t care about the majority of the shows we hold because you don’t know anything about them. If you took the time to some research you would realize how many amazing shows you have missed.
If this site is to remain about the music scene in Logan it should not discriminate against us because of the number of shows we have. Logan Scene should remain non-bias and include all shows. This will allow for everybody to filter through the Logan Scene page and see what shows are going on and decide for themselves what they want to attend.

Really the problem is that the sticky system is not the best way to present shows. A website is needed.

I would love to, but I actually have other things on my plate. I would have to make it my full-time job to research and attend every show. Seriously Tim, Robert or Patrick; Everyone isn't out to get you. Don't you think it would be more beneficial for you to have your own section? |
